TWO GUYS. TOO MANY WATCHES. ONE BAR.

PROBABLY HAS SOME HISTORY FOR YOU.

Mike likes knowing the story behind the watch.

Vintage references, old ads, movements, design history, Bulova rabbit holes - if there’s something worth digging into, he probably already has.

He likes an argument with evidence and has strong opinions about what deserves the word heritage.

Unfortunately for Joe, he usually comes prepared.

HAS QUESTIONS. AND OPINIONS. MOSTLY OPINIONS.

Joe usually comes at watches from curiosity first.

Odd designs, interesting movements, new releases, unexpected brands - if something catches his attention, he wants to know why.

He also has no problem telling Mike when he thinks Mike is wrong.

Which is useful.

And frequent.

IS USUALLY WHERE THE TROUBLE STARTS.

TOGETHER

We don’t collect the same way.

That’s kind of the point.

Mike makes a case. Joe pokes holes in it. We wander off topic, come back eventually, and somehow another episode happens.

There’s plenty of watch knowledge here.

We just don’t think you have to take yourself too seriously to talk about it.

The Springbar started with two friends, too many watches, and conversations that kept going way longer than planned.

So we put microphones in front of it.

Since then, the bar has gotten a little more crowded - guests, watch fairs, brand visits, road trips, and a community of collectors who also spend entirely too much time thinking about what’s on their wrist.

The watches get us started.

The conversation is why we’re still here.

Good watches.

Questionable purchases.

Strong opinions.

Bad jokes.

Occasional agreement.

Very occasional agreement.

Mostly, we talk watches the same way we always have - like a couple of friends at the bar who fully intended to stay on topic.

We rarely succeed.

SO... WHAT HAPPENS AT THE BAR?

Want to be on the show? Got something we need to talk about? Wanna tell us we are wrong?

Sounds like you’re our kind of people

You do not need to start at Episode 1.

Honestly, we’re not sure we recommend it.

Pick a topic you care about, grab a drink, and jump in somewhere.

Vintage. Quartz. New releases. Collecting. Industry nonsense. Whatever sent you down the watch rabbit hole in the first place.

We’ll meet you there.

NEW HERE?
